Job Description
Position Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to manage warehouse operations / activities at NeilMeds’ Canada facility.
Summary of Responsibilities:
The major responsibilities of this position are to manage the warehouse within company’s policies and vision. Supervise warehouse operations like receiving, shipping and warehouse maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee receiving, shipping and warehouse maintenance operations
- Initiate, coordinate, and enforce optimal operational policies and procedure for shipping/receiving
- Responsible for managing stock control and reconcile with inventory system
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies
- Supervise warehouse personnel, plan work rotation, and assign tasks appropriately
- Offer suggestions for process improvement when identified
- Other related duties as specified by upper-management
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS (Experience, Training, Education)
- At least 5 years of Managerial experience in Warehouse or similar operations
- Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
- Trained in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Leadership skills and ability manage staff
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills
- Able to lift minimum 25 kg
